Apply for a Condominium Management Provider Licence

To apply for a Condominium Management Provider Licence Application, you will need to provide the following information:

1. Names

You will be asked for the legal name and registered business name of the company as well as the name of the company's designated Principal Condominium Manager. Corporations will also be asked to provide the names and contact information of the corporation’s officers and directors. Corporations must provide a list of each person who beneficially owns or controls 10 per cent or more of the equity shares issued and outstanding at that time. Partnerships are required to list all partners.

2. Addresses

This includes your mailing address, email address and information related to any dwelling that you use to carry on condo management business. You will be asked for the contact information of the owner/person who controls access to this dwelling.

3. Corporation Information about Good Character and Financial Responsibility

Condominium management providers must be financially responsible and must perform condominium management services in accordance with the law and with integrity and honesty. For each director and officer of a corporation or partner of a partnership, you will be asked to provide information and documentation relating to any bankruptcies, unpaid judgments, employment terminations, suspended or revoked licences, charges or findings of guilt, findings of negligence, and any current investigations.

4. Fees

To submit your application, you will need to pay the $150 application fee. You will not be able to submit your application without paying this fee online by credit card or Interac.

If your application is approved, you will be required to pay the annual licensing fee before your licence will be issued. Your annual licensing fee will be pro-rated based on the number of days remaining in the current licensing year as of the date that the application is approved.
