The CMRAO’s team of professionals works in partnership with the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services’ Policy, Planning and Oversight Division. Some members of the team are shared with the CAO team.
Robin Dafoe leads the staff teams and reports to the Board of Directors. Robin was previously the Director of Corporate Policy and Tribunal Relations at the Ministry of the Attorney General. There, she worked with administrative justice executives across three tribunal clusters to help achieve their modernization goals. Prior to that, she was the Implementation Director for the Ontario College of Trades, a new regulatory body for apprenticeship and trades certification in Ontario.
She has extensive experience with independent bodies and governing boards including: Chief Administrative Officer/Director, Corporate and Public Affairs at the Education Quality and Accountability Office; Corporate Secretary to the first Board of Directors for Legal Aid Ontario; and Chief Administrative Officer/Director, Corporate Services at the Ontario Heritage Trust.
Robin has a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Psychology from Carleton University; a Masters of Business Administration from Schulich School of Business, York University; and a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall, York University.
Sandy Vizely is the Deputy Registrar and is responsible for leading the implementation and operations of CMRAO’s licensing program. His most recent work experience was with ServiceOntario as a Senior Business Consultant in the Registry Projects unit. Prior to that, Sandy taught English as a Second Language internationally for three years.
He received his Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University, and has completed the Ontario Post-Graduate Program in Public Administration from Humber College.
Nicoleta is CMRAO's Manager, Office of the Executive Director and Board Governance for the CMRAO. In this role, she is responsible for the Authority’s recruitment and administrative management activities.
Nicoleta comes to the CMRAO with considerable experience working with senior executives for the past five years. She also has experience with start-up organizations, both as an executive assistant and as an office manager. She holds a graduate degree in Human Resources Management from McGill University and has been involved in recruitment and HR management in various roles throughout her career.
As the CMRAO’s Financial Controller Rana is responsible for managing the CMRAO’s financial activities.
He has more than 10 years of experience in financial reporting and management as well as diverse experience working in multinational private and public co-operations around the world. This is complemented by extensive working knowledge of the service, trading, and manufacturing sectors.
Rana is a designated Chartered Accountant of Canada and the United Kingdom (UK) as well as a Chartered Management Accountant of the United States of America. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Sciences in Applied Accounting degree from Oxford Brooks University, in the United Kingdom.
Aimée is the Manager, Operation and Customer Care Contact Centre for the CMRAO. In this role, she is responsible for the authorities’ daily operations, procedures and leadership involving the customer care contact centre. Aimée comes to the CMRAO with considerable experience working in contact centres for over 20 years in both the public and private sector. She also has experience in sales, finance and service in various capacities.
Aimée holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Priya Ramsingh provides leadership to the team responsible for managing content, media, and digital marketing and communications strategies.
Priya has over 20 years of experience in the communications field and has worked for public, private, non-profit and media sectors. She holds a BA in English from Carleton University, a Business Communications certificate from Ryerson University and a French language certificate from Humber College.
